Quick Review - Snow White with the Red Hair

I recently finished watching the anime Snow White with the Red Hair which is available to watch on the Funimation website. The show is about a young girl named Shirayuki (Japanese for Snow White), who has beautiful red hair, and a boy named Zen Wistalia who is the second prince of a neighboring country.

Snow White with the Red Hair begins with a pompous prince named Raji Shenazard orders Shirayuki to be his concubine, she refuses the prince and runs away leaving some of her hair that he wanted to spite him.

Shirayuki then meets up with the neighboring prince Zen Wistalia and goes to his kingdom to study to become a herbalist. Soon a romance blooms between the commoner and the prince, as one would imagine such a thing could mean trouble and some attempt to keep them apart.

I ended up really getting into the story of Snow White with the Red Hair and would recommend those who love a good fantasy romance story to watch it as well. I give this anime a 8 out of 10.
